GOOD GRANOLA

After posting all of that about breakfast I decided to let you all in on a good homemade granola recipe we have been making since our arrival. The recipe came from a person here who has been making it for her 3 boys for quite awhile.

Here goes
Mix together in a large pan or bowl
4 cups oats (not quick ones)
1 cup raisins (we use white but dark would work)
1 cup grated coconut
1 cup powdered milk (just the powder don't make it)

in a glass measuring cup combine
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey

heat the above ingredients in microwave until
it becomes a liquid then pour over dry ingredients
in the pan/bowl. Mix well and store in a covered container.

We keep ours in the frig and eat it with some yogurt.
We also add some salted sunflower seeds to ours for a bit
of variety. I am sure there are other items you could add.

MAKE IT AND ENJOY
