TIS THE SEASON

The season for what you ask? Well, for some it is football, for others eating way TOO much, for some time to bake cookies and make fudge. Usually the day after Thanksgiving is (besides the day I start to listen to Christmas music) the 'official' first day of the Christmas shopping even though the items have been stores since Sept. The traffic problems start and tempers flare. Christmas shopping has started and people are heading to the MALL. Well, guess what! We have a mall here. It is an outside mall, no reason to be covered except during rainy season, like the ones they have been building in VA recently. We have clothing stores, shoe stores, baby stores, craft stores, food stores, 'unmentionables' stores, make-up stores, and a theater complete with popcorn and soda.
