Great granola - ENJOY !!!!!!

Well, we are back from our almost 3 weeks away. It is so good to get back home. That also means going to market and getting back into cooking. While we were gone a friend had some really good granola and I thought I would share the recipe with all.
1/3 cup butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup honey 1TBSP cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla
place this in a pan on the stove and allow it all to melt together well. Add 1/4 c flour sifted lightly over to not cause to clump up

Combine in a bowl 3 cups oats (not instant) 1/3 cup raisins 1/3 c nuts of your choice
you can add dried apple slices, banana chips, apricots, pineapple, coconut or any other dried fruit you would like to add.

Pour the melted mixture over the dry one and combine well. Put onto a flat cookie sheet and place in 180 C oven (375 F) for 10-15 minutes.
Allow to cool completely then store in air tight container. You can add orange flavor or almond flavor instead of the vanilla if you would like.
