Paris France, a set on Flickr.

For several years now, I have desired to see Paris. Both of my children had been there and my husband when he flew for TWA. I finally got to go. On Tuesday morning I along with my daughter-in-law headed to the train station and on a 3 day adventure to Parie. We rode a train to Victoria Station in London and then boarded the Eurostar to cross the water via the CHUNNEL.
Upon arrival we deposited our bags and started out.
I will share a bit of the adventure and my 983 photos with you

FIRST DAY: Ride the metro to visit Notre Dame. It is a huge place and the architecture is different on each of the four sides. The grounds are beautiful. Then we walked along the river and just took in the sites. We then boarded the metro and headed toward la Basilique u Sacre Coeur de Montmartre. We troded up the many many steep stairs to the site and the view. Walking down the hill we passed a quaint chocolat shoppe and had to take a few pictures. AMAZING is all I can say. This ended day one and we headed back to friends house for dinner and some fabulous tarts for dessert.

SECOND DAY: Palace of Versailles and Louvre plus many many miles of walking.
What do I say. There are not words for the palace. It is unbelievable and pictures will not describe it. We spent about 5 hours here strolling through on the grounds, admiring the many fountains and statues, then visiting the vacation home and finally the grand palace.

The Louvre is just that a huge art museum. We made it to the highlights that all go there to see and then visited the quarters of Napoleon iii A MUST SEE if you ever go

THIRD DAY: Our feet were getting tired but we had more to see. This day we went to the Arc de Troumph, the Eiffel Tower and walked across several bridges.
