Being Hands and Feet

Well, it's been a very interesting 20 hours.

My visit to Missouri got cut short by 6 days.    I drove 673 miles today in a little over 10 hours.

Last night about 2130 (930PM) I received a phone call from our daughter who was in WV with her dad while I was away.  He has forgotten to take his Decadron pill  we checked and sure enough he had forgotten.   Pill then delivered and making a long story short in about the span of 10 minutes he proceeded to have a seizure.  The ambulance was called and arrived in less than 10 minutes.   and he was taken to Marietta Memorial where a CT was performed and some swelling was found.    They prescribed some anti-seizure med and to increase the amount of Decadron he was taking.  The physicians at the James Cancer Center were notified and they agreed with the ER physicians.  He was sent home at around 0200 and has been fine all day.   Just quite tired and took several naps.  We still have the appointment in Columbus on Nov 6 unless something else turns up before then
I cannot thank the great neighbors I have enough,  Frank, Steve, and Lisa   You are gems.  I do not know how to thank you for leaving your homes at 2140ish at night and going next door.   I cannot thank you enough for your care and concern.    To Kevin, one of our pastors, great friends John and Norma from Belpre who drove to Marietta and Ms Cathy for coming to spend the night with Kyla who by the way slept through the squad going upstairs and getting Dave out of the house.  The GREAT AND AWESOME GOD WE SERVE intervened and shut her ears just as he shut the lions mouths for Daniel.  That is the only way she stayed asleep.

Again all seems to be well we'll just take it one day at a time.  The days cannot be great and involved  BRAIN FATIGUE is dangerous.  It can cause swelling and that can result in other problems.

THANKS AGAIN Frank, Steve, Lisa, Kevin, John, Norma and Ms Cathy.  Also to my super chiro, Steve Eddy for letting me get an adjustment after 1700 (5 PM) this evening when he was closed.  Now to get my body to slow down.
