HELLO from me

There is not much going on here in WV except just looking back and trying to find my place in this world now. I know we cannot change what happens but every once in a bit I do wonder about those shoulds, woulda, couldas. We have a strong and mighty GOD who know and HE gives us the peace we need in times like this. The photo above sort of says it all. It was taken in Rome. Looking out over the forum BUT looking and remembering that's the summation of my life recently. It's all just a vopor now compared to the time we will have celebrating in Heaven.
December 6, 2016. Dave was taking a ladder out of our truck and got a funny twinge in his leg and lost his balance. resulting in him passing out. The consequences of this was the first of many to follow ambulance rides. They determined he has a vasavagal synocopy attack. Interesting thing this. He came home and all was well. End of May we went to VA for some vacation time with Melanie and Kyla. Did swimming, cavern looking, fishing and mini golfing.
Came home and on June 6 Dave had an episode of passing out again. Thinking it was this same thing as previous we went to the doctor. They found nothing really, but during the hospital stay his heart stopped for 8.3 seconds. RESULT, get a pace maker that's what any hospital would do. We were dumb and didn't know any better so he had that done. Fast forward to June 22nd, A couple of heart wrenching things happened that I won't mention and a trip to FL was had God handled this event and all were safe. July 4th had a great celebration and then on July 25th he passed out again and had some severe cold sweats I took him to the ED and they found the mass on his right brain.
WOW Such a whirlwind 13 months we had after this. If you want you can go read the previous posts pertaining to this chapter in our lives. Here is a photo of a very happy rememberance for Dave his last Christmas
The last 15 months have been difficult I won't fib and say different. I had a lot of experience being a married woman at home alone but this is different. There is no end to the cruise or the trip this week. Learning to make choices and decisions alone. Something I've done before but not to this level.
I have loads of things I would like to do but...Doing things alone is not always easy and as heart warming as one would think. My daughter-in-law's daddy went to heaven very unexpediately right prior to Thanksgiving. Her mommy is learning this same stuff also now.
SO, as we are approaching this joyous Christmas season I want to look back and remember the reason we celebrate. A tiny baby born of lowly parents, who 33 years later died a brutal death on a cross, but HALLELUJAH he did not stay dead The tomb was opened and he's alive.
Some days that's difficult to remember but God is so gracious and merciful to each of us, even when we don't deserve it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PBysTjztCU this song says it well.
Don't know what's ahead but I know who holds the future.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Love you all
Judy
