temp of water

In fact, one day we used a candy thermometer and took the water temperature coming out of our kitchen sink. The water was a steaming 193 degrees F(the pictured temp is before we let it get as hot as it could get). That's not to shabby for a SOLAR HOT WATER heater! The water must have been over 200 degrees up on the roof.
One nice thing about that really hot water is that when we rinse off the dishes, they get so hot that they almost immediately dry off. They are also sort of disinfected. We have not had to use bleach in our wash water to keep us from getting Mao's "revenge" or other common sicknesses. For that we are grateful.
Today was nice and sunny after the morning fog burned off. We had plenty of sunshine, and the water was nice and hot as we washed the dinner dishes. It's going to be a good shower tonight! So when you take your shower or as you are rinsing your own dishes, remember us and try to imagine how nice it is to have plenty of free HOT water. It is a true blessing.
